Deb is an illustrator whose passion has always been to draw bright, happy and colourful things. She finds inspiration from all around. As a child her mother said she was ‘off with the fairies’ in her own little dream world. Dancing about in dress ups and talking to imaginary friends.

Her drawings centre around birds, flowers and occasionally dogs, rabbits, unicorns, people and many more beautiful and simple natural things.

Deb illustrated her first children’s book ‘The Golden Thread’ written by Amelia Donnelly and published through Lake Press in 2018. Her latest illustrations can been seen in a new beginner reader series ‘What Zola Did’ on Monday through to Sunday. Written by award winning author Melina Marchetta and published through Penguin Australia. In book stores June 2020.

She lives in the fabulous city of Melbourne, Australia with her husband, three kids, energetic border collie and a bright yellow canary.
